I love iron lacework on old buildings, and love the idea of quilts made with similar designs.

Not a lot of applique in the second design, even the border is quilted only.

Bendigo Laceworks 1, 2 from Virtual Quilter

Choose any two colours, cut background squares from one, lacework designs from the other.

I like both designs, and as I haven’t finished my morning coffee I am not going to try to pick a favourite.

Applique Tiles 4, 5, 6 from Virtual Quilter

Interesting, but it looks more like a tiled floor, or maybe a feature wall.

Second one is definitely a floor.

Ok, no grouting in the third one, but I would quilt it anyway!
